Selection and preparation of ingredients
For baking, you can purchase a whole carcass or steaks. The latter are convenient in that they only need to be thawed and cooked according to one or another recipe.
Important! The time for frying or any heat treatment of the fish depends on the thickness of the pieces. For every 1.5 cm, 4 minutes of frying time on one side and the other are required.
Defrost them in sequence:
- Put for 2-3 hours in the lower part of the refrigerator.
- Then get out and continue to defrost at room temperature.
If you bought fresh fish as a whole, then it must be cut, remove the insides, clean from scales. Then cut off the head, fins and cut into even steaks. It is not necessary to trim the skin in order to cook steaks. Its task is to preserve the integrity of the pieces and prevent them from disintegrating.

Recipes for cooking steaks are not particularly diverse. At the heart of any of them is pickling fish in spices, followed by frying or baking. - Grind the garlic and add it to the onion.
- Lay out steaks on top of this layer. Pour them with soy sauce, squeeze the juice of lemon, salt and pepper.
- Lubricate the surface of the fish with mayonnaise. Wrap the foil to form a concert.
- Preheat the oven to + 180 ° C and send fish to it for 20 minutes. During this time, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

- Bake for 10–18 minutes depending on the size and thickness of the slices.
- While preparing the fish, you need to cut into cubes and fry the onion in vegetable oil over medium heat until transparent.
- Wash and chop the mushrooms and spinach, add them to the onion.
- Peel the garlic, chop and put to the rest of the vegetables. Cover and pass until tender, stirring occasionally.
- When the spinach is ready (if there is liquid from the mushrooms left in the pan, then it needs to be drained), add white wine. Simmer 3-5 minutes.
- Pour in whipped cream or sour cream and mix well, seasoning with salt and pepper, sauté for 5 minutes.
- When serving, put prepared vegetables into steaks on top.
