Leading experts of the veterinary and sanitary control department on the state border of the Russian Federation, with the support of transport control officers, were able to successfully complete an important mission - to inspect five cars transporting cows from Germany to the Ulyanovsk Region.
It is known that foreign cows were purchased by representatives of the administration of Agro-Neptune Limited Liability Company, which is located in the Novospassky district of the Ulyanovsk region.
The company is based in the village of Troitsky Sungur and provides the Russian market with animal and poultry meat, by-products, livestock and legumes.
The company’s management decided to purchase German heifers in order to increase the number of livestock in the assets and raise new-generation cattle with increased stamina, “meatiness” and resistance to various diseases and pests.
Horned "guests" from Germany underwent a mandatory inspection, during which experts familiarized themselves with the conditions for the transportation of animals and the accompanying documents and certificates of quality and compliance.
The search results were comforting - the "foreigners" are healthy in all clinical indicators and were born and raised on the territory of German households, officially protected from dangerous viruses and diseases.
Now the cows are in quarantine stalls, but very soon they will join their "sisters" in the main premises for animals.
