Employees of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Bryansk and Smolensk Regions continue to carry out a “destructive mission”.
We are talking about the disposal of counterfeit apples that arrived in the Russian Federation from the Republic of Belarus without all the necessary supporting documentation and phytosanitary certificates.
In particular, in accordance with the relevant Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, over fifty-seven and a half tons of apples arrived from Belarus were sent to a specialized landfill for the disposal of such products, which is located on the basis of the SpetsATH enterprise.
A batch of dubious quality was subjected to a grinding procedure and the apple "remains" were buried on a special site.
It is known that these fruits were brought to Russia under the guise of finishing materials - heat-insulating and sound-insulating boards. Fortunately, the Rosselkhoznadzor employees did not allow dubious fruits to enter the Russian market as part of the standard phytosanitary control procedure at border checkpoints.
Representatives of the public relations department of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service shared this information with a wide audience.
