In October 2018, the “Golden Fleece of Bashkiria” cooperative started, which specializes in preparing wool for spinning textiles. The cooperative is located in Zianchurinsky district and today officially has only one single employee - an experienced wool procurer Gali Ishmukhametova.

“I used to serve in the district consumer society, ten years ago I was recognized as the best procurer of the republic,” says Gali with pride. “Well, now I decided to work in a cooperative.”

It should be noted that the “Golden Fleece of Bashkiria” includes existing republican farms, and at least 200 sheep are kept in the stalls. It’s hard for Ishmukhametov alone to cope with such volumes of work, for which the cooperative leadership promised: by summer, Gali will have at least thirty more colleagues.

It should be noted that the main tasks of the “Golden Fleece of Bashkiria” are reduced not only to the fulfillment of production tasks for wool processing, but also to the solution of acute social problems of the republic. In particular, by opening a cooperative, the developers intend to reduce the percentage of unemployment in the Zianchurinsky district and provide jobs for rural youth in Bashkiria, as well as affect the increase in incomes of rural residents.
