The fresh harvest of greenhouse vegetables from Simferopol and Bakhchisarai combines inspires optimism to Crimean farmers - they managed to collect more than fifty tons of cucumbers from closed beds.
It is reported that about twenty seven and a half tons of cucumbers were obtained from the Bakhchisaray greenhouse complexes, and at least 23 tons from the Simferopol combines. Such data was published by experts of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
At the moment, it is known for certain that cucumbers from Crimean greenhouses will be sold not only on the trading floors of the peninsula, but also on the markets of other regions and republics of the Russian Federation. It is noted that vegetables grown in environmentally friendly conditions of the Crimean peninsula are very popular among residents of Russia. The consumer appreciates the taste and other characteristics of the product.It will not be amiss to note that today the task of growing vegetables in the greenhouses of the Crimean peninsula lies on the shoulders of the five main enterprises of the closed type of soil. All of them are located in the vast Bakhchisaray and Simferopol regions. And the total area of capital winter greenhouse complexes in the Crimea exceeds 36 hectares. Also note that last year the total volume of greenhouse vegetables from the Crimea exceeded 9 thousand tons.
