Soybean productivity in the climatic conditions of Ukraine reaches 1.8-4 t / ha. Each hectare set aside for soybean cultivation yields a profit of € 1 thousand, according to the owner of Zhiva Niva company from the Zhytomyr region Alexei Yazykov.
Due to the high profitability of soybeans, this year the company plans to devote half of its land, 3.2 thousand hectares, to cultivate it.
Judging by the profitability of cultivation, corn is a little less profitable. This year, due to the large harvest, the price of corn in European markets fell from € 200- € 250 to € 160. Unprecedented demand for it is not visible, but even in such a situation, the net profit from its cultivation is € 670 / ha, emphasized Alexei Yazykov.Buckwheat has not shown itself to be a cost-effective culture. Her cultivation is almost not profitable. The company "Live Cornfield" has not yet decided whether to allocate sown areas for it.
Employees of the company consider wheat as one more unsuccessful culture. Its profitability lies in the range of € 200- € 250 / ha. Wheat is used here more for crop rotation than for profit, summarized A. Yazykov.
Recall that soy is one of the most cultivated crops. It is grown worldwide, in more than 60 countries on all continents of the planet.
