In the next five years, agrarians of the Tyumen region seriously intend to increase agricultural exports.
Their goal is to increase the volume of shipments at least twice. In other words, Tyumen entrepreneurs expect to go beyond the current turnover of fourteen million nine hundred thousand US dollars to a higher rate - up to twenty eight million four hundred thousand dollars.
Such information was shared by representatives of the public relations department of the department of agriculture in the Tyumen region on the pages of their Internet portal.
The ministry’s press service also emphasized that in order for regional agricultural producers to “jump” to the target level, the gross cereal crop should be substantially increased to one million six hundred thousand tons, and the oilseed crop to fifty-four thousand two hundred tons.
In addition, the production of poultry and livestock should be increased to one hundred sixty-six thousand tons.
It is noteworthy that the authorities of the Tyumen region intend to increase the export potential in the meat and dairy industries, as well as increase the production of ready-to-eat provisions.
