The 23-year-old ATO fighter Ilya Voloshin equipped a workshop for growing onions in the basement of his house. Next season, Ilya hopes to get 1 ton of products per month.

Ilya returned from the ATO not so long ago. When the young man returned to his hometown, he decided to start his own business. The guy’s parents always grew greenery in the house, so the idea of ​​planting onions came by itself.

Ilya led the light into the basement, equipped the irrigation system, made beds and provided the necessary temperature conditions. All this helped him to equip the won grant in the amount of 16 thousand UAH.

Ilya Voloshin calls the cultivation of greenery in Ukraine profitable, since domestic farms produce only 20-25% of this product from the total amount on the market. In winter, onions are mainly imported from countries such as Israel and Turkey.

When growing their products, the young businessman does not use chemicals. He sells the resulting green onions in the market and supplies them to volunteers for ATO soldiers.
