Members of the All-Russian Association of Kalmyk Cattle Breeders will meet very soon in the framework of the annual forum to discuss pressing problems, achievements and priorities of the industry.

The meeting of breeders is scheduled for September 27, 2019 in the city of Elista. Such information was shared by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The ministry also notes that during the congress (already the tenth in a row), experts from tribal and farming enterprises of the Republic of Kalmykia will meet with representatives of the authorities of the region and the country, as well as leading scientists, breeders and geneticists of Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

Kalmyk breed of cattle

It will not be superfluous to note that the Kalmyk breed breeders association was established in 2011 and currently unites representatives of fifty organizations, farms and research centers from twelve regions of the Russian Federation.

It is noteworthy that, within the framework of the forum, an excursion to the shelter enterprise “Agrofirma Uralan” will be organized, on the territory of which the congress participants will visually get acquainted with advanced methods of raising individuals of cattle of the Kalmyk breed.
