December of this year was marked by an unprecedented event for Russian farmers and buyers from the Republic of Korea: for the first time, Russian farmers concluded an import-export agreement with their Korean counterparts.

The main role in this agreement is assigned to Novosibirsk barley, the first batches of which have already left for Korean buyers.

“Before sending commodity barley to Korea, we conducted a thorough control and verification of the product,” experts of the Rosselkhoznadzor say. “As a result of numerous analyzes, it turned out that our barley complies with all phytosanitary standards of the Republic of Korea and is a safe product - no viral pathogens and other quarantine organisms were found in export batches.”

Equipped with all the necessary certificates, barley from Novosibirsk fields went to Korea. In total, more than 330 tons of grain were exported, which was transported in 14 containers. Busan will be accepted by the Korean railway port of Busan.

“The Republic of Korea takes all goods that come from other countries very seriously,” the Rosselkhoznadzor employees explain. - Their checks are distinguished by increased scrupulousness, which is why Novosibirsk barley underwent a thorough analysis. If Korea appreciates the quality of our product, we will get a profitable partner in the global import-export market. ”
