Representatives of the agricultural direction of agriculture of the Kuban began to harvest in fields with winter crops.

It is known that the total area of ​​the territories under harvest is more than one hundred thirty-six thousand hectares.

First of all, Kuban pickers began work with winter barley. It is reported that at least seven and a half thousand hectares of agricultural land have already been threshed. And this is five percent of the planned plan.

It is noteworthy that from these territories managed to collect about fifty thousand tons of barley. This has affected the average regional level of productivity, which today is about sixty-eight centners per hectare.

We add that this season the agrarians of the region have a crucial task - to harvest from at least one and a half million hectares of wheat and barley fields. To fulfill the task, Kuban grain producers will use over forty thousand units of special equipment in their activities.

As Viktor Sergeyev, the head of the peasant-farmer union of the Krasnodar Territory, notes, every year Kuban farmers receive financial assistance in the amount of about two billion rubles as part of national programs for the purchase of special equipment and the renewal of the machinery park.

This year, forty-five super-tech harvesters that were purchased on the eve of the harvest from Russian and foreign manufacturers will go to the fields of the Kuban.
