The authorities of the Republic of Belarus are familiarized with the next draft law, which is closely connected with the introduction of amendments to the implementation of some agricultural processes in the country.
This is an initiative that involves identification, subsequent registration and continuous monitoring of both farm animals and animal products made on the basis of farm raw materials.
Such information was shared with the public by Angela Borsch, who heads the Center for Information Systems in the field of livestock. According to the director of the institution, the bill will be allegedly adopted in November this year. The revision process is currently complete.
In the meantime, registration of five livestock species — horses, goats, cows, pigs and sheep — has already completed in the Belarusian expanses. All representatives of the above types are already listed in the information system of the Republic of Belarus indicating the facilities on which they are contained.
As soon as the initiative regarding registration and tracking of other species of animals has been taken, rabbits, poultry, animals of fur breeds, as well as fish and other hydrobionts will also be subjected to the identification procedure.
