The Kiev company Eridon opens a new direction for growing elite meat breeds of cattle - the production of marbled beef.
This year in the village of Chopilki (Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky district of the Kiev region) in the territory of LLC Eurosem (a division of the Eridon company), a unique object for the Ukrainian agricultural sector began to operate. This is a cattle breeding farm. Here calves of elite breeds Aberdeen Angus and Charolais are fed according to the most modern world technologies.
The conditions for keeping animals on the farm take into account harsh international standards, starting with deep bedding for animals and ventilation, and ending with the diet. Elite cattle are kept here from birth to the age of one and a half years.
Today, there are more than 1100 cattle of the first stage. Of course, the owners plan to further expand the capacity of the livestock complex.
In the Eridon group of companies, the new meat cattle breeding complex is considered as a vertically integrated cycle. The owner fully provides the procurement of feed to be sure of their quality.
The total number of employees of the complex so far reaches 30 people. Almost half of them are modern shepherds, who should take special care of cattle. Bull-calves of elite breeds cannot once again be disturbed, scared, and even more so beaten.
Together with a combination of a balanced nutritious diet, this allows you to get the same famous marbled beef, which is brought to us from overseas and charge a lot of money for it. This elite product can be obtained in Ukraine, and its final selling price will be noticeably lower.
When creating the livestock complex, the Eridon company took care of the availability of pastures for grazing the breeding stock of meat breeds of cattle and the creation of appropriate conditions for keeping animals.
