On July 1, 2019, several large fires were immediately recorded in the Poltava region, the press service of the State Emergencies Service in the Poltava region said.
So, the incident occurred on the lands of the village of Salovka, Kremenchug district, where at about 16.00 a wheat field began to burn. The employees of the State Emergencies Service arrived to fight the fire, and land user equipment was also involved.
On the same day, a field burned in the territory of the village of Breusovka in the Kozelshchinsky district. Flames absorbed about 1 ha of plant debris after harvest.
Abnormal heat is a favorable environment for the occurrence of fires in ecosystems. So, on the territory of the Avtozavodsky district of Kremenchug, 2 hectares of dead wood burnt out. And on the lands of the village of Nedogarky in the Kremenchug region, the fire cracked down on 300 m² of dry grass.
Dead wood also burned in Gorbanevka near Poltava in the territory of the Gadyatsky district. According to rescuers, most often fires in ecosystems begin due to careless handling of fire.
So, on July 1 there was a fire in a private household in Globino. There, a woman burned dry grass, which caused the outbuildings to catch fire. Firefighters managed to curb the fire and save the apartment building.
