On July 28, 2019, special line 101 received a message stating that during refueling with fuel and lubricants, the combine burned out on the side of the field near the village of Samostryly, Koretsky district, Rivne region.
Firefighters of the 15th state fire and rescue part of the city of Korets and the local fire brigade of the village of Veliky Mezhirichi of the Koretsky district were immediately sent to the place of call on fire tankers.
At the scene, rescuers filed a fire extinguishing agent to extinguish the fire. At 13:44 the fire was eliminated. The driver of the combine harvester received burns, he was sent for treatment to the Korets Central District Hospital. The cereal field was not damaged.
2 units of fire equipment and 7 firefighters were involved in the extinguishing. Currently, the cause of the fire is established by specialists. Previously reported numerous field fires throughout Ukraine. In particular, in addition to grain and stubble, combine harvesters also burn.
Equipment designed to collect grown, sometimes not only burns down, but also drowns right in the middle of the field, as happened in the Zaporizhzhya region. A combine harvester of a local farmer drowned in crops in the village of Primorskoe, Zaporizhzhya Region. The field was flooded due to rupture of a dilapidated water pipe.
