In the Dolinsky district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, unidentified men broke 700 fruiting bushes of blueberries on the farm of the Maydan farmer. UAH
Ruslan Figol came to farming in 2014, when after a gunshot wound in the abdomen during the Revolution of Dignity, he was no longer able to go to work. For the wound, the state paid him 700 thousand UAH, which the man invested in growing blueberries.
The village council did not have free land, and the novice farmer decided to rent a plot. He took Dmitry Blokhin into the long-term arena of the land surveyor of the Obolonsky Village Council. The rent per year was 10 thousand. For two years, the land owner was happy with everything, since the tenant regularly paid for using the land.
But when the planted blueberry began to bear fruit, Blokhin’s wife told Ruslan to leave their land with his bushes. During the conflict, it turned out that the owners of the site want to receive 50% of the grown berries. The farmer had strained relations with the village council, as he was not in agreement with some of his decisions, Ruslan Figol said.
Of the 800 fruiting bushes, blueberries were broken 690, another 10 were uprooted. In total, the site is planted with 4 thousand berry bushes. As the victim said, the attackers did not touch the lower grade, which has not yet matured.
They knew what to break. In addition, the barbarians cut all 4 wheels of the tractor, which was located near the plantation. The farmer says that the attacker could not act alone, because in order to damage so many stands alone, it would take a lot of time. The police who arrived on call more than half an hour counted the broken bushes.
The deputy chairman of the Dolinsky district association of anti-terrorist operation forces Vladimir Stefanishin said that this incident will be discussed at a general meeting of combatants. The members of the meeting will turn to the authorities to bring those responsible to justice.
