The authorities of the Kurgan region are reviewing the possibilities for further agricultural development of the region.
It is planned here not only to continue to support large investors, but also to open about 100 small farms every year.
In addition, it is planned to start 5-7 projects for the construction of pig farms for 0.5 thousand heads, the governor Vadim Shumkov said in a meeting of the council for the development of the agro-industrial complex.
The business model for the construction of a pig farm for growing 500 goals, which will pay off for 3-5 years, was presented by the director of LLC Kurgan Vyacheslav Nemirov. According to a specialist, raising pigs in the region is cost-effective.
Currently, only 1/3 of the total consumed pork meat is produced here. At the same time, there are many large processing enterprises that need raw materials.
The proposal for the development of pig breeding in the region was supported by Vadim Shumkov. He gave the task to the department of the agro-industrial complex to collect the opinions of all members of the council regarding measures of state support for pig production, training of specialists and other areas.
The department should do their analysis, taking into account what to adjust the profile programs of the region. In 2020, the region will be allocated from the federal budget for 218 rubles. more than in 2019. These funds will go to the development of agriculture in the region. 134 million rubles will make up incentive subsidies.
