About one hundred and seventy thousand vegetable products grown on agricultural land (both in open and closed ground conditions) of the Krasnodar Territory were harvested by local farmers this season.

Such information was shared with a wide audience by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Also, department officials emphasized that over one hundred thousand tons of vegetables were harvested from vegetable gardens, whose total area exceeds thirteen thousand four hundred hectares.

As for the greenhouse production in the region, in this case we can talk about such volumes of productivity as seventy thousand tons. It will not be superfluous to note that a year earlier this indicator was five thousand tons less.

It is noteworthy that the government of the Russian Federation and the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory regularly provide strong financial support to local farmers. In particular, in 2019, about two hundred ninety-three million rubles were allocated for the needs of farmers in the region. We are talking about subsidies from the federal budget, as well as from the regional fund.

It will not be superfluous to note that agricultural producers who received material assistance can reimburse expenses from the funds received both for the purchase of seed material and fertilizers, and for the introduction of advanced technologies and innovative equipment in their daily work.
