Collection rules
You need to choose young copies. They have a more elongated leg. Often pigs grow in places where trash accumulates or on roadsides. Mushrooms in such places should not be collected, since they absorb toxins and heavy metals.
How to clean your sows

- Next, rinse the mushrooms and transfer them to a container with clean water for another hour.
- Soak a few more times.
- Then you need to drain the water and separate the caps from the legs.
- Pigs require preliminary heat treatment, so it is recommended to boil them in salted water for at least half an hour. When cooking, the water becomes dark. It must be drained. Add clean water again and cook for another 40 minutes.
- Transfer the boiled mushrooms to a colander and wait for the water to drain completely. After that, you can cook them.
Benefit and harm
Firstly, it is a low-calorie product, with a protein content of about 60%.
- Pig has a considerable amount of useful properties:
- helps fight cholesterol;
- improves the general condition of the cardiovascular system;
- fills the body with antioxidants;
- improves immunity.
- And they do tremendous harm:
- the fruit body contains a considerable amount of muscarine, which does not break down during processing and remains in the body, slowly killing it;
- antigens are present in these fungi - they begin to produce antibodies in the blood, accumulate and can lead to serious diseases.
Even eating edible mushrooms can cause an upset gastrointestinal tract. You need to be careful!
How to cook
The most popular way to cook a pig is pickling. To do this, you need:
- Put salt, sugar, spices and chopped fruit bodies in boiling water.
- Add 2 tsp. vinegar and boil for 20 minutes.
- Arrange mushrooms in sterilized glass containers. Fill them with marinade and add 2 tbsp to each. olive oil.
- Boil the filled containers for 20 minutes and tighten the lids. After cooling, put in a cool place.
Having properly cleaned and pre-processed the pig, you can get a great addition to your table. It will make great snacks or a good addition to the main dishes. The main thing is to make the right choice during the collection and heat treatment of this product.
