When the onion becomes transparent, add the cherry to the stewpan, which must be separated from the seeds. Following the cherry, sugar, salt, wine, grated ginger (which was previously peeled), as well as black pepper and thyme are sent. The mixture should boil.

Well, for now, while the base for the sauce is boiling, dilute the starch (in the absence of corn, you can replace it with potato) in 3 tbsp. water, and when the wine mixture boils, pour the starch solution into it with a thin stream - this will allow your sauce to become thicker.

After dipping all the ingredients over low heat for about 3 minutes, remove the stewpan from the stove and pour the mass into the gravy boats. This sauce will emphasize the taste of dishes of duck, turkey, lamb and beef.
Cognac sauce
And finally, the fastest recipe for meat sauce, which, however, is very tasty and original. It will not be difficult to prepare it if you have such components:
- 2 tbsp cognac;
- 200 g homemade mayonnaise;
- 3 tbsp tomato sauce;
- 1 onion;
- juice of one lemon;
- ground red pepper - chili or cayenne.
