Representatives of the horticultural branch of agriculture in the Lipetsk region set an ambitious goal - at the end of the current season, to harvest berries from at least nine hundred thousand tons.

In this case, we are talking about the collection of such crops as raspberries, garden strawberries (strawberries), mountain ash, chokeberry and currant.

It is important to add that in 2018 the total volume of berries in the specified region amounted to more than eight hundred and thirty tons.

However, over the year, farmers approached the process of berry cultivation even more responsibly and prepared, so the chances of increasing yields are very high, analysts of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation are convinced.

It will not be superfluous to note that from the beginning of the ripening period of berries to the present day, Lipetsk berries managed to collect more than three hundred tons of garden strawberries.

The main strawberry producers in the region are four enterprises located in the Lebedyansk and Usman municipalities of the region.

Among the leading strawberry harvesters, we can distinguish employees of Yagodnye Fields limited liability company with an indicator of two hundred and fifty tons, as well as representatives of the Agrofirm named after 15 years of October joint-stock company, which today managed to collect more than forty-four tons of strawberries.
