To date, about ninety-nine percent of the territories from the originally planned plan have been threshed on the agricultural expanses of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It is reported that the total area of cultivated land with grain and legumes is one million three hundred hectares.
Such information was quickly shared by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The department also hastened to note that by joint efforts the local farmers managed to collect more than three million two hundred eighteen thousand tons of grain harvest.
The specific gravity of wheat in the gross volume amounted to two million one hundred sixty seven thousand. As for barley, its part is equal to fourteen thousand nine hundred tons. The remaining types of cereals and legumes amounted to thirty-six thousand tons.
Based on analysts' estimates, the average yield on Azerbaijani fields with grain and leguminous crops today is about thirty-one and a half centners from each worked hectare.
Among the harvest forwards in the republic, districts such as Barda, Saatli and Sabirabad can be distinguished.
