The Crimean peninsula is developing a new production - we are talking about growing Thai white-footed shrimp.
According to Alexander Shubaev, who runs a new production project in the Crimea, shrimps are now grown on the basis of water resources of the Crimean partisans fishing collective farm.
To implement the program, investments of more than eight hundred million rubles were required. This money made it possible to plan all the nuances of the new enterprise and begin to equip the site for growing shrimp young.
It is known that the start of the project took place in 2015, and the commissioning of production took place just the other day. For all this time, the amount of investment in the case exceeded thirteen million dollars, said Shubaev.
Today, in a pond on the territory of a fishing collective farm, there are about eighteen million shrimp fry, which arrived directly from Thailand. By the end of the year, producers intend to get at least three hundred tons of large and high-quality white-legged shrimp.
During the year, the shrimp farm administration plans to achieve such production rates that will allow to market up to one thousand tons of products annually.
The main buyers of the white shrimp shrimp from the collective farm named after the Crimean partisans will be the inhabitants of the peninsula, as well as consumers of the Krasnodar Territory, the Russian capital and St. Petersburg.
