As part of the weekly monitoring of the food market, leading analysts of Murmanskstat concluded that the provision, which relates to so-called essential goods, has risen significantly in price over the past few days.
Examining the price range of food outlets in cities such as Severomorsk, Murmansk and Apatity, experts concluded that a product such as potatoes soared in price by 4.3%.
As for onions, it has risen in price for Murmansk consumers over the week by 3.4%. When buying millet, buyers of these three cities today give an average of 3% more money than a week ago.
Cabbage, which today costs residents of Murmansk, Severomorsk and Apatity, is 2.8% more expensive than the cost that was recorded a week earlier. Apples for the specified period rose by one and a half percent, and carrots - by one.
It will not be amiss to cite the opinion of experts who are convinced that prices for vegetable products in the Russian Federation are rising due to drought in European countries that import their farm food to the Russian market.
As for the cost reduction in the Murmansk market, here we can note the leaders of cheaper ones - poultry eggs (by 4.3%) and frozen fish, which fell in price by 0.7%.
