For the first quarter of this year, Ukraine increased export deliveries of table eggs to foreign markets by 40%. The upward trend in exports of these products continues to persist, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

As of April 1, 2019, Ukrainian producers shipped 39 thousand tons of inshell eggs to foreign markets, which is 1.4 times higher than in the same period last year, when 24 thousand tons of product were exported.

In terms of money, the sales of eggs from Ukraine increased even more noticeably - almost 1.6 times. So, last year, the Ukrainian side for the same period sold eggs to other states in the amount of $ 22.9 million. This year, revenue for this product amounted to $ 35.8 million.

In the first quarter of this year, the United Arab Emirates became the main market for the Ukrainian product, which bought eggs for $ 10.1 million. Iraq and Latvia became active buyers of chicken eggs from Ukraine, which brought 25% and 10% of the total revenue for exporting the product, respectively .

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine had reached an agreement on export deliveries of table eggs to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both parties have already agreed on the form of an international veterinary certificate for the supply of the product.
