The other day, agricultural analysts shared with the public information on the pace of sales of sunflower products last month.

In particular, it became known that in August 2019, four times more sunflower was sold than a year earlier.

In addition, as reported by the Federal State Statistics Service, a total of Russian farmers sold last month one hundred twenty six thousand eight hundred tons of sunflower.

And in the period from August 2018 to August this year, the Russian Federation shipped about seven million two hundred forty thousand tons of sunflower to the foreign market. For a clear comparison, we note that this figure is fifteen percent higher than the volume of exports a season earlier. With such a figure, domestic farmers owe a record generous harvest.

It should also be noted that according to the results of the 2018-2019 season, twelve million seven hundred thousand tons of sunflower were harvested in the Russian Federation, which is twenty three percent higher than the previous season.
