According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, for 9 months of this year in the country by 1.3% (21.2 thousand increased production of cattle for slaughter.

For the reporting period, it amounted to 1705.5 thousand tons.

Russian agricultural organizations were able to increase the number of livestock raised by 15.1 thousand tons (+ 2.1%) to 724.6 thousand tons, and personal households of the country's population increased their cattle output by 10.5 thousand tons (+ 6.3 %) up to 176.0 thousand tons.

According to official information received on October 1 of this year, farms of all categories contained 3959.6 thousand heads of cattle and beef and beef cattle. This is 110.8 thousand goals (2.9%) more than in 2018.

Specialized experts are of the opinion that the release of high-quality meat products in the future will be established only with the active development of the direction of beef cattle breeding.

This will become possible if there are measures of state support for the industry, which are aimed at implementing large-scale investment projects and keeping livestock with high productivity.
