This year, employees of agricultural and farming organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan intend to collect a generous sunflower crop - at least three hundred thousand tons.

Such information was shared with the public by representatives of the public relations direction of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria.

In addition, the department was quick to note that, along with excellent yield indicators on fields with sunflowers, Bashkir farmers are counting on a good collection of mustard and rapeseed. The estimated yield of both crops this summer in the Bashkir open spaces is about sixty thousand tons.

It will not be superfluous to note that in 2019, the grain harvest on the agricultural lands of Bashkortostan will be supposedly equal to three million tons.

It is important to add that the area under cultivation in Bashkiria this year significantly reduced indicators - there was a decrease of five percent, which led to a figure of seventeen million hectares.

As for spring crops, according to the results of the current harvesting process, the average yield in Bashkiria is eighteen and a half centners per hectare. The average yield of winter crops is a little over twenty two centners per hectare.
