A new family farm for 10 dairy cows has opened in the village of Chesniki, Rogatinsky district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Its discovery was made possible thanks to the implementation of the regional project "Development of the dairy business in Ukraine" with the support of the Canadian non-governmental organization Sokodevi.
Representatives of the Canadian company Sokodevi presented the owner of the family farm Lydia Megmet with a modern milking machine De Laval in honor of the launch of the agricultural enterprise in operation.The regional budget allocated UAH 1.6 million to support and develop the livestock industry under the Comprehensive Program of Agriculture and Rural Territories of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region for 2016-2020.
Most of the funds will be used to support agricultural service cooperatives and livestock family farms.
Earlier it was reported that the resettlement from a zone beyond the control of the Ukrainian authorities opened a livestock farm in the Donetsk region. Lyudmila Rechkina won a grant and founded a farm where she grows 40 bulls, pigs and poultry.The young entrepreneur was able to become the largest meat supplier in the region and is now thinking about her own chain of stores.
