Australian dairy company Bubs Australia after the conclusion of a supply agreement with the New Zealand multinational dairy cooperative Fonterra will release a new series of organic baby food.
Under the agreement, which will be valid until July 2021, Fonterra Australia will supply Bubs organic milk powder, produced at its Australian plant in Darnum from New Zealand organic milk.
Bubs Organic's new range of baby food will be available in pharmacies across Australia over the next three months and then exported via a cross-border commercial channel to China.Christy Carr, founder and chief executive officer of Bubs Australia, said: “Super premium foods are the fastest growing segment of the infant formula category, and now we can offer two nutrition options - organic and goat to meet individual dietary needs - using the global consumer trend towards natural Sustainable and Organic Food. ”
“The cow's milk formula makes up about 95% of the Australian infant formula market and represents a significant opportunity for Bubs, which already have the prestigious Australian brand positioning of baby food and the strong organic credentials created over 13 years of producing Bubs Organic baby food,” added Christie Carr.
